Loretta Lynn is mourning the loss of one of her children. The country singer's eldest daughter, Betty Sue Lynn, has died at the age of 64 from complications of emphysema in Waverly, Tenn.
"The Lynn Family appreciates all your prayers, love, and support of our family’s loss," the 81-year-old's family wrote on Facebook Monday, July 29. "Betty leaves two daughters Lynn Markworth and Audrey Dyer."
The singer, who chronicled her life in the film, Coal Miner's Daughter, has six children altogether, including Clara Marie, 62, Ernest Ray, 54, and twins Peggy and Patsy, 49. Her son, Jack Benny, died in 1984 at 34.
