Yes, it's really reggae, and yes, the Harris-penned lyrics (which are written from Tom Hiddleston's perspective if this is, in fact, a Hiddleswift ditty) do suggest Hiddleston and Taylor Swift may have been involved before her split with the DJ.

There is one caveat to this though: sources have told several outlets that the song was written before Hiddleston and Swift had their awkward little dance-turned-globe-trotting-romance at the Met Gala a month before Harris and Swift officially broke up.
