Jon Moxley debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and became a megastar there in no time. He is someone the company can fully rely on and has constantly put the company ahead of himself. Mox is also known to pop into NJPW and GCW at times, and that happened again last night.
As previously reported, the current AEW World Champion recently signed five-year contract with AEW. In spite of that, Moxley can still compete in other promotions AEW has a partnership with, especially NJPW.
NJPW’s The Night Before Rumble on 44th Street took place on October 27th. During the event, Moxley competed in an unannounced elimination 12-man tag team match and shared the ring with the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jay White.
The AEW World Champion teamed with Eddie Kingston, Amazing Red, Homicide, Shota Umino, and Kazuchika Okada in a 12-man elimination match. They faced Tom Lawlor, Royce Isaacs, Jorel Nelson, El Phantasmo, Juice Robinson, and Jay White.
White and Moxley then faced off before Kingston helped Moxley eliminate White to win the match. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Moxley, especially as the AEW World Champion continues appearing in other companies.
